There is no justification for the statement, "If God loves me, let Him prove it!"
He has it already.
God demonstrated His love for you at Calvary, where Jesus suffered a torturous death on a crucifixion.
In order to release you from your justifiable penalty, he died in your place.
God showed you His unwavering love by giving His life for you.
Why would He have more love for you?
Jesus demonstrated His greater love for you than for Himself.
JOHN 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
For you, Jesus gave His life.
What more could He offer?
1 JOHN 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
The image of God is corrupted in the minds of many.
God's willingness to endure suffering in exchange for the freedom of all people is a true reflection of who He is.
SAY THIS: God has shown me that He loves me.
