HABAKKUK 3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Rejoice refers to the act of repeatedly enjoying oneself. We are to thank God for what He has done for us again and over again.
PSALM 35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
Being pleased with God is what it means to enjoy Him.
When we are happy with God and what He has accomplished, God is also happy. God loves it when you are joyful about the things He has done for you.
DEUTERONOMY 26:11 And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the Lord thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
We shouldn't always limit our response to God to a calm, collected response. Sometimes we should feel overjoyed when we completely see what our dear Lord has done for us.
ISAIAH 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Don't let the enormous love and salvation of God become mundane, unimportant, or uninteresting. Give yourself permission to behave as though you are hearing the Good News for the first time. Feel free to leap and shout!
SAY THIS: God is pleased that I am enjoying the salvation He has provided for me.
