HEBREWS 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
HEBREWS 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
HEBREWS 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
All that you say is your confession. Regardless of the situation, you should continuously keep speaking in faith and concurring with what God has stated.
There wouldn't be a need to hold firmly to or stick to a profession of faith if it always seemed to be working.
When they follow God's Word and it doesn't happen right away, some people are shocked. But Scripture is filled with proof that this is common.
We have a chance to walk in faith and delight God during this time.
Keep in mind that words can reveal authority. Speaking in opposition to what God instructs gives the enemy power over that part of our lives.
Scripture instructs us to battle (if needed) in order to maintain speaking in accordance with God's Word.
Why does the Bible instruct us to "hold fast"—other translations include "hang on tight" and "hang on for dear life"—?
It's obvious that someone or something is working hard to persuade us to let loose. What or who do you believe that is?
SAY THIS: No matter what the situation, I will continue to speak in accordance with God's Word, with the help of God.
