LUKE 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
Many of the prayers are easy to give up when they don't get the immediate response, which does not delight God.
You could say, "God is aware of my need. Why does He keep playing games with me when He could just give it to me?"
Whether you consent with God's ways or not, you cannot change the fact that God is in charge of and sets up the rules, not you.
Therefore, it doesn't work for you to dispute or protest.
It's better to follow His plan instead of defensing it.
In addition, God's ways are actually perfect; it's just because we are too young and too simple to fully acknowledge what God is doing.
Whether you agree with God's ways, or not: God is still in charge and makes the rules -- not you.
So, it does you no good to argue or complain.
Better to just line up with God instead of fighting against His plan.
Besides, in reality God's ways are perfect, it is just that we are often too immature and ignorant to understand all God is doing.
Scripture has many good examples on how people press in and get answers to prayer.
We should never quit when it comes to prayer.
It is God's will and he is the One who told you to pray and actually delights in answering your prayers.
(Never forget that He loves you more than you can imagine. God loves you more than He loves Himself, and it is proved it by his dying in your place, so that you could go free.)
"But, why are there so many delays?"
The devil, one of your enemies, hates you and is opposed to you receiving a response from God.
Second, some prayers involve other people. God does not push people to follow His will; in stead, He patiently works with them so that they can understand and do things right, which takes time.
Third, while you continue to pray constantly, God is working on some things in you.
It is God's intention and plan for you to develop spiritually.
God desires to strengthen your faith and inspire you to get closer to Him.
If every answer comes to you immediately, would you be willing to move on and take time and efforts to getting closer to Him and studying His Word?
Don't lose your hope when praying.
As long as you are praying in accordance with God's Word, keep on praying in faith.
A short-time delay, even a long-time dealy, does not imply that God is ignoring your request.
SAY THIS: I will keep on praying.
