That which you say is your confession. You are instructed in the Bible to cling firmly to speaking God's Word.
HEBREWS 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
God wouldn't tell us to stay fast to our confession unless something or someone was actively trying to persuade us to do so and say something else.
HEBREWS 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
HEBREWS 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
In terms of our confession, or what we say, Jesus would be the High Priest. The words we use to communicate with God convey us to him.
According to the Bible
You are blameless in Christ. Romans 3:22 You've been forgiven. Colossians 2:13 You've recovered. 1 Peter 2:24 The demon is freed from you. Colossians 1:13 Everything is possible for you through Christ. Philippians 4:13 In the Lord, you have strength. Ephesians 6:10 You hold the Greater One. 1 John 4:4 God is leading you. John 16:13 In you, God is at work. Philippians 2:13 Your supporter is the Lord. Hebrews 13:6 In order to make you rich, Jesus went impoverished. 2 Corinthians 8:9
You might be perplexed as to why God would say what He does about you in the Bible.
God is first seeking for faith, and then the Word that is ingrained in your life will set you free. You can plant God's Word in your heart and mind by speaking it.
Yes, believing what the Bible says about you can require faith. Particularly when you don't feel like it and the environment isn't conducive.
But we must decide whether to trust God's Word or our feelings. Do we place more faith in God's Word than in the circumstances?
However, you might object, "What the Word states just isn't true in my life."
The establishing witness is you. God has made a statement regarding you. As soon as you agree with Him, it will start to happen in your life.
MARK 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Jesus assured us that if we believe what we say, it will come to pass. It will actually happen.
You can now understand why the adversary attempts to convince us to stop reciting God's Word, which would set us free.
SAY THIS: Regardless of how I feel or my current situation, I will speak the words that God has for me.
