Prayer

Heavenly Father, guide me to walk uprightly and refrain from evil speech. Grant me the wisdom to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. Help me to spare my words, showing meekness unto all men. Keep me from idle words and vain babblings, that I may not stray into ungodliness. Let my words be pleasing to You, Lord, for I know that I will give account of every idle word in the day of judgment. In Jesus' name, Amen.
