Keep Faith And Patience

Published: April 3, 2024 · Reviewed: June 2, 2024

HEBREWS 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Not just putting up with things counts as patience.

The definition of patience is continuing, persevering, remaining steady, maintaining your course, and not becoming weary of doing good and giving up.

Since patience is a fruit of the spirit, maintaining a strong spiritual life via frequent prayer and Bible study is necessary for practicing biblical patience.

When we put our faith in God's promises, there will inevitably be a period of waiting and testing.

But stick to your faith, it will sustain you.

JAMES 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

The things God has said will happen in your life.

Continue to believe.

Hold on to hope!

SAY THIS: I shall learn from those who through patience and faith receive God's promises.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Guide us to be not slothful, but to follow those who through faith and patience inherit Your promises. Grant us the strength to persevere, to remain steady, and to maintain our course. Help us to not grow weary of doing good. May we maintain a strong spiritual life through prayer and Bible study, practicing biblical patience. As we put our faith in Your promises, sustain us in times of waiting and testing. Let us learn from the prophets, who have shown us the power of patience and faith. We hold on to hope, believing in Your promises. Amen.
