HEBREWS 6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Not just putting up with things counts as patience.
The definition of patience is continuing, persevering, remaining steady, maintaining your course, and not becoming weary of doing good and giving up.
Since patience is a fruit of the spirit, maintaining a strong spiritual life via frequent prayer and Bible study is necessary for practicing biblical patience.
When we put our faith in God's promises, there will inevitably be a period of waiting and testing.
But stick to your faith, it will sustain you.
JAMES 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
The things God has said will happen in your life.
Continue to believe.
Hold on to hope!
SAY THIS: I shall learn from those who through patience and faith receive God's promises.
