It's possible that you didn't have a good parents on earth. However, you are fortunate to have a great, ideal heavenly Father!
Earthly fathers may let us down, but Scripture shows that our heavenly Father is far superior to all human fathers. God is flawless and never loses!
MATTHEW 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
ISAIAH 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
You will experience difficulties in life, but no matter what you go through, your heavenly Father will watch over you.
What did God indicate when He said He would be your Father?
A father is somebody who can take care of you when you can't take care of yourself because he is stronger, more competent, and more intelligent than you are.
A decent father takes duties for his kids, making sure they are fed, clothed, and properly trained so they may succeed.
A school may choose to "expel" a student who is not behaving in the way they would like. However, a decent father will always provide for their child, by all means.
A good parent loves and cares for a child even if he is not perfect. So does God love you even you're not perfect.
A good parent also never acts in a way that would hurt his child. Everything perfect is a blessing from our Father God, while everything harmful is from the devil, our enemy.
Almighty God pledges to be a Father to you if you are a faithful Christian! What a soothing idea! You should feel more confident in yourself as a result of this.
