Whatever You Permit

Published: April 18, 2024 Β· Reviewed: July 17, 2024

MATTHEW 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Lots of people believe that whatever appears is God's will. However, the Bible makes clear God's will and teaches us that we must work with God to bring about His will in our lives.

Illness is not a creation of God. Paradise is a disease-free place.

Acts 10:38 makes it clear that the evil oppresses people with illness. Therefore, we should fight off illness.

Poverty is not a creation of God. Paradise is a place without shortage.

Selfishness, conflict, bitterness, and hate are not God's natures. They are all not in paradise. All of these things should not be approved in our existence.

Only if you give the devil permission, nothing could impact your life. According to the Bible, the devil will run away from you if you fight off him.

JAMES 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 PETER 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Numerous people only put up resistance temporarily before giving up. We should keep the mindset that anything against God's will is unacceptable.

"But despite my efforts to fight it off, it would still remain".

Trying for a while doesn't count as resisting. Evil should always be resisted.

Resist to the end of life. Never give up. Never surrender. Never yield.

Battle the good battle of faith until triumph is revealed.

EPHESIANS 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

SAY THIS: I will not allow any of the devil works in my life.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, We come before You, acknowledging Your sovereignty and goodness. We understand that illness, poverty, and discord are not of Your making, but the work of the enemy. We stand firm in our faith, resisting these afflictions, knowing that they are not Your will for us. We submit ourselves to You, Lord, and resist the devil, confident that he will flee from us. We pledge to never surrender, to fight the good fight of faith until Your victory is manifested in our lives. We declare that we will not allow any of the devil's works in our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen.
