The Lord Is Jesus!

Published: April 23, 2024 · Reviewed: May 3, 2024

PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus Christ is Lord, despite what it sometimes seems like. He is the supreme authority, the ruler, the boss, the emperor.

God has given us the opportunity to "try things our way" so that we can realize the foolishness of going against him.

But it won't always be this. God has a purpose for this period of history, and He has allowed a certain length of time for it.

Although God has established some limitations, in general, humans now rule the globe. We have a free will. We are responsible for the results of our decisions because we have the freedom to make them.

People's decisions are to blame for everything that is negative in the world today. It is not God's fault. He simply bears responsibility for giving us the option to make a decision.

One day everybody will recognize Jesus Christ as the true Lord. That opportunity is yours today.

SAY THIS: I am pleased that Jesus Christ is Lord

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, exalted above all. We bow our knees and confess with our tongues, glorifying You. Grant us wisdom to make decisions that align with Your will, acknowledging our free will is a gift from You. We take responsibility for our actions, knowing they shape our world. We eagerly await the day when all will recognize Your sovereignty. Today, we joyfully proclaim: Jesus Christ is Lord! Amen.
