Once You Sin

Published: April 25, 2024 · Reviewed: May 8, 2024

1 JOHN 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Lots of people have allowed sin to keep them away from God.

However, the devil is the one who claims that when we sin, God does not care us.

Jesus paid a high price so that you could receive forgiveness and be set free from sin's punishment.

ROMANS 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Although God hates sin because it hurts people, He still accepts sinners!

God does not become hostile toward us when we commit sin.

To ensure that our relationship with God is not impacted by all means, we should not escape from Him but rather turn to Him for support and purification.

We apologize for our sins to keep the devil out of our lives and close the door to him.

EPHESIANS 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

God cares people and you as well.

His final objective is to create a community of people who willingly embrace God's perfect love and refrain from sinning.

Confession of your sins helps you to eliminate their negative effects from your life and keeps the demon out of your space.

I don't mean praying God for forgiveness and swearing never to commit sin again.

Say rather, "That is incorrect. That was a mistake on my part. Lord, I want your help to get through it. Please keep putting your will into me.

With Jesus' priceless blood, sin has already been atoned for.

Sin is already granted forgiveness by God, so it shouldn't prevent anyone from having a relationship with Him.

SAY THIS: I won't allow sin to take me apart from God.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, We confess our sins before You, acknowledging our transgressions. We thank You for Your faithfulness and justice, for forgiving us and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. We rebuke the lies of the enemy, knowing that Your love for us is unwavering, even when we fall short. We are grateful for the redemption through Jesus' blood, and the forgiveness of our sins according to Your abundant grace. Help us, Lord, to resist sin and to seek Your will in all we do. We declare that sin will not separate us from Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
