TITUS 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Not only has God chosen not to lie, but He CANNOT LIE.
God just tells the truth!
JOHN 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Everything that God speaks comes into being. God is unable to deceive because everything He tells will materialize, even though it wasn't true before He indicated it.
GENESIS 1:3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
Therefore, the Bible is the final authority on truth. More enduring and genuine than what we can currently find.
God cannot deceive because it goes against who He is. God is a loving person who has no selfish interests.
His character does not let Him lie. For God, telling the truth and never lying come naturally.
NUMBERS 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
HEBREWS 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
God has promised us His Word, which will not fail and makes the basis of our connection with Him so strong. In the event that proof is ever offered that conflicts with what God tells, we can be certain it is a lie. Because it is true that God cannot deceive.
Because lying is against His essence and He can bring about whatever He says, God cannot deceive.
SAY THIS:
My God is truthful.
He represents truth.
