ROMANS 1:17 7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
We need to understand what faith is because the Bible says that we who have accepted Jesus Christ as our Savior are to live by faith.
What you believe is your faith. Faith and believe are two different word forms that can be found in the New Testament.
Faith is not an emotion, mindset, outlook, or physical condition. The act of choosing to have faith is mainly an act of will.
You cannot be made to accept anything. Your choice of what to believe is made by your own.
This is what it means: Faith is always a choice that is supported by some proof and that leads to a specific action.
Therefore, faith is the decision to embrace the evidence as true and reasonable of action after being convinced by it.
To choose to accept what God states is real is to have faith in him. Accepting God's Word as convincing proof is what we mean by this.
Faith in God and His Word works on the same rules as faith in everything else. There aren't any unique regulations. It all depends on your belief.
SAY THIS: I believe in faith.
