PROVERBS 10:22 The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
The majority of Christians concur that in the Old Bible, God blessed His people when they obeyed.
But unfortunately, many people do not think that God still wants for His people to prosper today because the devil's lies have crept into some of the Church's doctrine.
MALACHI 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
We must walk in faith in order to accept and live out God's blessing. The primary issue preventing Christians from being blessed today is this.
Simply put, they don't think God wants them to be prosperous. It is impossible to have belief to obtain anything if you don't think it is God's promise.
Consuming God's Word, which strengthens you, is the remedy for a lack of beliefs.
MATTHEW 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
You can easily see in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible that God is obviously in favor of His people's prosperity.
2 CORINTHIANS 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
We are cautioned in the Scriptures not to put our faith in money instead of in God. There are passages that warn against serving or loving money.
However, these passages shouldn't be read in isolation from the rest of the Bible and their meaning shouldn't be changed in order to take away from what Jesus has already done for us: sufficient provision in all facets of life.
SAY THIS: The Lord's blessing is enriching me.
