1 JOHN 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Wouldn't it be great to stay in a world where everybody was loved perfectly? A location free from self-interest, where people prioritized the needs of others over their own.
The positive news is that such a place does exist! Jesus is the Lord there.
Given that God is love, the Kingdom of God is also known as the Kingdom of love.
Everybody is is invited and welcome. Everybody is to fit here.
There is only one issue. If you were permitted entry while still being a selfish person, you would destroy it for other people.
As a result, you can't enter until you've been transformed into a loving and selfless individual.
Yet everybody is naturally selfish! We're incapable to stop it! We are what we do.
JOHN 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Yes, people are selfish. That illustrates why you MUST be born of God and acquire a new nature in order to join the Kingdom of Love.
John 1:12 explains how accepting Jesus Christ will cause us to be born again and become children of God.
ROMANS 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
The Holy Spirit transforms us on the inside as soon as we accept Jesus Christ and infuses us with God's love.
Then, in order for us to live without fear, we have to trust that God loves us. People are prone to acting selfishly out of dread.
1 JOHN 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Dread drives self-centered behavior in humans. Dread is driven out by God's flawless love, which ensures that He will provide perfectly and abundantly. (1 John 4:18).
REVELATION 1:5-6 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
All evil is selfish. Only when we believe it will help us do we sin. We must be set free from selfishness in order to be liberated from our sins.
Jesus' death was for more than just our crimes to be forgiven; it was also for our deliverance from them.
That can only take place as the love of God drives out our selfishness.
And only when we are born of God, flooded with God's love, and put our faith in God's kindness and abundant provision for us can that happen.
SAY THIS: I decide to spend my entire life in God's Kingdom of Love.
