It's hard to know what "time" is. Time is "relative", according to scientists, it is merely something that appears true to us.
According to the Bible, God exists "outside of time." God is not limited by time because He made it.
Can we understand this easily? No.
We refer to a human remark as a lie, not the truth, when it is not true at the time it is made.
However, since God is not constrained by our sense of time, we cannot blame Him of lying when He tells something that doesn't appear to be true at the time. (Furthermore, we're not aware of everything.)
After all of that, the Bible makes it crystal that you ARE cured.
ISAIAH 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
You can make a decision, then. From your point of view, you can tell, "That is not real. I have not recovered".
Alternately, you could look at it from God's point of view and, because of your belief in Him, concur with what He told.
Which option is best? Keep in mind to consider eternity as part of your assessment on your response. You can benefit from delighting God by receiving His Word after this life.
Here is one method for understanding everything. God made provisions to cure everybody. Receiving that support requires belief, which is doing as God commands in His Word.
MATTHEW 8:16-17 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
The devil attempts to take away the healing that God made possible for you.
In essence, we don't fully comprehend everything. God is.
It seems preferable to believe in God because He loves us rather than relying on our own constraint knowledge. I decide to accept and tell what God tells regardless of my understanding.
SAY THIS: According to the Bible, I am cured. I've decided to agree with everything God stated in the Bible.
