LUKE 12:6-7 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
All of us experience inadequacy complexes. No one is immune, regardless of how attractive or accomplished they are.
How should you assess your own value?
Finding out what somebody is willing to pay for something is the best method to estimate its value. What was the cost that God was prepared to bear for you?
ROMANS 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
God was prepared to sacrifice His Son as the payment for your salvation. No higher cost could have been spent!
Whose opinion should you let decide your value? Who has the true intelligence to understand you and your potential?
An adult? A couple? Partner or a lover? A neighbour? A manager or a teacher?
Hardly! All of these individuals have a finite amount of information and comprehension. They are not actually that intelligent when compared to God!
You are incredibly precious to God! Don't let the devil steal the priceless fact from you.
God knows what you can become, even though you are not yet living up to your maximum potential. God believes you are worthy enough to give His life for you!
You are not forgotten among the billions of other people who also live. God is aware of you!
He is aware of how many hairs you have on your head! Every wish and hope you have is known to him.
And even though He is fully aware of anything about you, He still has an endless love for you!
God cares about you. He has vowed never to desert or abandon you.
HEBREWS 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
There is no possibility that God will change His opinion about you given the incredible value He paid for you.
