Jesus' descent into poverty is generally known. The just he don't know the reason.
You could hear some people say that this scripture simply relates to becoming "spiritually rich." Don't be fooled by that.
You can note that it is talking about money if you consider the context.
"So why aren't Christians wealthy?"
The major cause is an absence of education on the subject. We must take everything from God with faith.
We need to hear sermons and lessons on how it is God's will for us to flourish.
I'm not arguing that having money makes you a better person, or that it indicates strong faith. I DO assert that the curse from which Jesus freed us included poverty and deprivation.
In contrary to getting rich quick scams like hitting the lottery, God's wealth is a growing thing that will not crush you.
However, the Bible does not deny the reality that Jesus became poor in order to release you from poverty and make you wealthy.
SAY THIS: Jesus slid into poverty to make me wealthy.
