The Greater One Lives In You

JOHN 4:4 And he must needs go through Samaria.

This brief statement has two parts: God is greater than all things, and since you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ, He now resides inside of you.

Who could contest the truth that God is greater than all issues? The Creator, God, is superior to ALL. For Him, nothing is too challenging. This is a common belief.

The second part, "God is in you", is more challenging to accept. But for Christians, that is what the Bible's statement is.

JOHN 14:16-17 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

1 CORINTHIANS 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

2 CORINTHIANS 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Stick to the Scriptures. You hold the Greater One.

He is more powerful than any issue. He is more powerful than any circumstance, challenge, barrier, foe, or object.

SAY THIS: The Greater One lives in me. He is greater to all that I have faced and will ever encounter.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge Your greatness, surpassing all things. We affirm our faith in Jesus Christ, who dwells within us. We accept the challenge of understanding that You, God, are in us. We thank You for the Comforter, the Spirit of truth, who abides with us forever. We recognize our bodies as Your temple, a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit. We renounce any agreement with idols, for we are Your people. We cling to Your Word, knowing the Greater One lives in us. He is greater than any challenge we face. In Jesus' name, Amen.
