1 JOHN 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
According to the Bible, God is Love, and Love is at war.
1 JOHN 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whom is Love at war against, and why?
Love suffered a great loss when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and pursued the devil. Lies caught their minds and emotions.
Love does not wage war on others, but rather on egotism, hatred, dread, and prejudice.
How would Love battle if Love entered a conflict?
Love fights war by winning over and converting its opponents to Truth rather than by defeating them.
Love never causes damage to those it captures.
2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-5 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
The battle of love is for truth to win. The enemy's lies have put God's creation in slavery, but truth that is put into practice frees people (John 8:31-32).
Satan has been spreading untrue information about God from the Garden of Eden, leading people to believe that He is unjust, unkind, uncaring, and untrustworthy.
Satan, however, lies!
With only words, Love was unable to prevail in the debate. Action was necessary.
God had to refute all of the false information the devil had spread about Him. This is the reason God took on human form and suffered on the cross at Calvary.
By publishing laws, you cannot demonstrate that you are not a callous tyrant. You can only show that you have a caring and generous nature by what you do.
ROMANS 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Even though Jesus prevailed in the crucial fight at Calvary, not everyone is yet aware of what transpired there. The battle will be over once everybody is aware of the whole truth.
SAY THIS: Love fights against lies so that everyone can understand the truth and be freed up.
