LUKE 5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
Jesus prayed, and He serves as our model. If Jesus needed prayer, then how much more so do we.
JOHN 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
LUKE 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
Jesus' devotion to prayer and emphasis on its value undoubtedly made an impression on His disciples. The only thing they ever asked Jesus to teach them is how to pray, which is what they wanted Him to do.
LUKE 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.
SAY THIS: I will follow Jesus' lead and take time in prayer with my Father God as He is wiser than I am.
