MATTHEW 6:10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
In many circumstances, people often think what God's will is. "How are we to pray? Is it God's will that this individual is helped,or not?"
This scripture clarifies God's will and tells us how to pray. Anything that is in opposition to this can never be God's will.
What are the takeaways for us from this verse?
First, God's will is not always carried out; otherwise, we wouldn't need to be told to pray for God's will to be carried out on earth.
Second, if God's will is not automatically being carried out, it implies that unless God's people do what we are expected to do, the devil's (or our enemy's) will probably be carried out.
Third, God's will is always good for every person because it is undoubtedly good for all people who live in paradise.
Many people have the misconception that God must be in control of everything that occurs. No!
The fulfillment of God's will must be prayed for. It is not mechanical.
God does not want every theft, rape, or murder to happen.
The blessing and provision of God will start to manifest on earth as it does in heaven as soon as we give Jesus full control in our lives.
SAY THIS: God wants everything on earth to be exactly as it is in paradise.
