HEBREWS 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
On the Earth, saving money for the future and getting preparation for your retirement are regarded as prudent moves. Yet, preparing for eternity should be prioritized far more.
1 PETER 1:6-7 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Jesus never stated that if we follow Him, we won't have difficulties in this world. He did, however, pledge to always be by our sides and to support us in overcoming all obstacles.
MATTHEW 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
MARK 4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
How is it possible for Satan to rob someone of the Word? O nly by making them suspect it. B y making an effort to manipulate events and emotions in order to make God's Word appear untrue. If God's Word isn't functioning in someone's life, then why would they stick to it?
You must put your faith in God, and He deserves it.
HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Hold fast to your belief in God and His Word.
Pray and ask God to educate you and give you knowledge of how to appropriately act on His Word if things don't appear to be workable. Never, however, question God's ability to uphold His promises.
SAY THIS: Because God is deserving my trust, I will continue to hold faith in Him.
