It appears that respect is no longer in vogue. However, God's immutable Word tells us to show respect for others.
Disrespecting people is truly disrespecting the Creator of those people, God.
God placed such a high value on this for wives that He specifically commanded them to honor their husbands.
EPHESIANS 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
Although Scripture places a particular emphasis on wives respecting their husbands, we should respect everyone. God said this to assist women, not to force them into submission.
Following this directive from a caring Heavenly Father will be beneficial for a wise lady both now and forever.
MATTHEW 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
People who are wealthy, well-known, and successful are respected by everyone. Anyone can achieve that.
Yet how do you regard those who are perceived as the "least", who presumably have no means to help you?
SAY THIS: I'll treat individuals with respect because God values them and loves them.
