2 CORINTHIANS 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
PROVERBS 11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
Truth is revealed in these words, but not all.
Therefore, we cannot disregard the remainding God's instructions and assume prosperity simply because we contribute.
But He does advise everyone who is wealthy to practice charity and to put no confidence in wealth (1 Timothy 6:17-18).
While not requiring it of everybody, Jesus instructed one individual in particular to offer free everything.
As Jesus' followers, we must be prepared to fully commit (Luke 14:33).
However, Jesus does not insist on it in order for us to join His realm.
PSALM 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
1 TIMOTHY 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
2 CORINTHIANS 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
PROVERBS 3:9-10 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
