You Will Receive What You Say

Published: June 16, 2024 Β· Reviewed: July 14, 2024

MARK 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Jesus stated that if you believe and don't question, you will receive whatever you ask for. Consider that. What you receive in life depends on what you speak.

NUMBERS 14:28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

PROVERBS 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

You can get problems for what you say. What you say can also help you. (see Revelation 12:11 and Romans 10:10). Your life is decided by your words.

We all experience difficulties in life, and it can be enticing at times to question why God does not intervene sooner and better. Despite the fact that there are many things we are unaware of, we have to acknowledge our responsibility for what occurs to us is the result of what we have said, in light of what Jesus told.

SAY THIS: Jesus told I will receive whatever I say if I believe it.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, In accordance with Mark 11:23, I pray for the faith to move mountains. Help me to speak life, not doubt, and to believe in the power of my words. As Numbers 14:28 and Proverbs 6:2 remind me, let my words reflect Your truth and love. Guide me to use my words wisely, for they shape my life. Even in times of hardship, let me remember Jesus' promise that I will receive whatever I say if I believe it. Amen.
