You Are Justified in Christ

Published: June 18, 2024 · Reviewed: July 20, 2024

ROMANS 5:1,9 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

The message that Christians are righteous has not been preached very often. Yet the Bible makes it crystal. Once you understand that the same word frequently translated as "righteous or made righteous" is frequently also translated as "just or justified," it all becomes even more obvious.

Rich principles can be found all in the Bible, but they are not always readily apparent. Realizing the wealth at your disposal may require some deep investigation and study.)

Somebody might object, "But I believed the Bible stated there is no such a righteous person."

Yes, Romans 3:10 does state that, but it does so in order to demonstrate that both Jews and Gentiles were sinners before God and in need of salvation. The next few verses (see below) continue by stating that we can now be made righteous through belief in Jesus Christ.

ROMANS 3:21-22 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

ROMANS 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

SAY THIS: I am justified before God because of the death of Jesus Christ.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, We thank You for the gift of righteousness through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We are grateful for the peace we have with You, justified by His blood, saved from wrath. Help us to delve deeper into Your Word, to uncover the rich principles hidden within. We acknowledge that we were once sinners, but now, through faith, we are made righteous. We declare that we are justified freely by Your grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. May we live in this truth daily. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
