ISAIAH 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Too many people believe that praying only means requesting their wants from God. Prayer, however, is much more than that.
Prayer is a channel of interaction and connection with the Almighty. Somehow, when we pray, God's power is given to us in an exchange.
LUKE 22:46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.
Being resilient helps you resist enticement.
Spending time in prayer helps you grow spiritually.
JUDE 1:20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
Jude claims that prayer develops you up or edifies you.
The more you pray, the more spiritually strong you become because prayer is a spiritual exercise.
Some people might object that they are unable to pray. Just start chatting with God.
And keep an eye out for His reply—not in the form of a voice, but rather through His Word or thoughts that are consistent with it.
Do it now!
SAY THIS: I decide to spend time in prayer with God every day and accept His help and strength.
