You Have To Control The Devil

Published: June 23, 2024 · Reviewed: August 3, 2024

JAMES 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Most Christians assume God to dominate over the enemy, but God has given you that authority.

EPHESIANS 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

If you lose control over the situation, would God advise you to forbid the demon from having any place? If the devil is involved in your business, it is because you have given him permission.

If you let the demon rule, he will.

Jesus achieved triumph. In legal terms, it is yours.

The devil, however, is a lawbreaker who won't follow the rules unless compelled to. The devil will automatically assume control of the circumstances in life unless you enhance Jesus' victory and Lordship.

No person can stand up to the demon alone. As a result, you are incapable to battle him by your own.

You do not have greater strength than the devil, however you do possess greater power as a follower of Jesus Christ,

Believers have the support of God and His forces when resisting the devil in the name of Jesus, just as a police officer in uniform has the support of the full government and its forces.

God wants you to use the power He has given you to withstand the devil. Things won't go well with your life if you disregard God and don't use it.

It's the same as my son requesting me to throw the garbage after I required him to do it when I ask God to stop the devil from doing his work.

God advised us to battle the devil so that he would escape. God's Word must be accepted and followed.

SAY THIS: I will battle the devil and he will run away from me.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I submit myself to Your divine authority. I resist the devil, knowing he will flee from me. I refuse to give him any place in my life. I acknowledge that I cannot fight him alone, but with Your power and the victory of Jesus Christ, I am more than a conqueror. I stand firm in Your Word, knowing that as I resist the devil, he will flee. I will use the authority You have given me to uphold Your Lordship in my life. I trust in Your promise and guidance. In Jesus' name, Amen.
