About Challenges

JAMES 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

We all deal with a variety of issues in life, which are not caused by God. God is the solution, not the issue.

Natural disasters may be referred to in insurance terms as "acts of God," yet this is incorrect. They are devil, the deity of this world, rather than the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

In John 10:10, Jesus outlined the difference between the thief's and God's work.

JOHN 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

It is usual for people to ask "God, why did you do this to me?" when awful events occur. This implies that everything that occurs is the result of God. The Bible, however, tells a different story.

1 JOHN 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

The evil in the universe is the work of the devil. And humans have let the devil carry out his evil deeds. In the end, this means that people have to take responsibility. We cannot hold God accountable. He gave us the power to put an end to evil, but we haven't used it as much as we ought to.

God granted humans authority over the world.

GENESIS 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

By means of His Name, Jesus returned authority to us when He saved humanity. Because Jesus gave us His power, we are accountable for what we permit to take place on this planet.

LUKE 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

MATTHEW 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Heaven will support us, but it is our duty to use our spiritual power to resist evil in the world.

Everything that robs, murders, or damages comes from the devil, but not God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, so it must be overcome.

Acts 10:38 states that Jesus Christ, who was the ideal representation of God, moved around blessing and curing humans and never harming anyone. Jesus gave rather than took. He is always the same, also today.

SAY THIS: The challenges I encounter are not caused by God.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We understand that the trials we face are not of Your doing, but the work of the enemy. We thank You for the authority You have given us through Jesus Christ to overcome evil. Help us to use this power wisely and effectively. We declare that You are our solution, our refuge, and our strength. We trust in Your unchanging nature and Your abundant love for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
