LUKE 12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Many people want you to think that God simply provides for our basic needs and nothing more. They haven't thought about the flowers, though!
Follow Jesus and watch the flowers if you want to get to know God better. They originated from God.
God created a lot of flowers, why? There is no need for so many various types of flowers. Despite the fact that flowers serve a variety of functions, all requirements might have been met by a single type of flower in a specific color.
In reality, the numerous varieties of flowers are unnecessary,. They are "extra", going far beyond what was required.
Although we could survive without all the different flowers, having them makes life so much more wonderful.
God is not planning for you to struggle by, dear buddy. Jesus advised you to ask and receive in order for your joy to be fulfilled (see John 16:24). God wants your joy to be overflowing.
But avoid the error that so many people make. Without God, an abundance of "things" won't ever please you.
Yet what a blessing it is to be in direct relationship with the Creator and be able to give thanks to Him for all the lovely things He has given you out of His boundless love. Things are a fantastic blessing in that situation since they serve as a daily reminder of God's goodness and love.
The fact that God "prospers" flowers better than Solomon, the richest man who ever lived, was part of Jesus' argument. You may and will receive care from God. Simply allow Him.
I thank the Lord for flowers every time I see flowers or when I consider the abundance God has given me, because it makes me think of His love.
