PROVERBS 25:21-22 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.
Why would a person hate someone who had been kind to them?
Your acts should make your foe think twice about supporting you.
In addition to having a strong probability of becoming friends with your enemies when you treat them kindly, God will also honor you.
ROMANS 12:19-21 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Treating someone kindly is the best method to make them your friend.
That is God's strategy.
It should also be your strategy.
SAY THIS: If you treat your opponents like friends, you won't get any enemies.
