PHILIPPIANS 1:21-23 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Dying should not be feared by a Believer. For a Believer, death is an advancement into a better position — something to expect rather than to fear.
A lot of Believers are still dominated by the dread of dying. It prevents them from carrying out the will of God. Because they are dreadly of dying, the dread prevents them from walking in belief.
What a blessing and glory it would be to sacrifice for our great Lord Jesus Christ! We should be excited about the thought of it occurring rather than be afraid of it.
REVELATION 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
We cannot ever walk in dread, rather, we must always walk in absolute victory.
HEBREWS 2:14-15 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Jesus' sacrifice freed us from the restraints of our dread to dying. For us, Jesus took the pain out of dying. For us right now, dying simply means a motivation to a better situation.
And paradise is even more wonderful than you could have imagined. Nobody who has entered paradise would ever choose to return to the earth. Paradise is much better! You'll love it!
SAY THIS: I am not afraid of dying.
