God mainly wanted to have a family, which is why He created us. Man needed freedom of decision in order to have true relationship with the Lord.

Sadly, man abused his freedom, rebelled against God and lost his relationship with Him.
Because he disobeyed God at the demon's advice, man fell and came under the control of the devil. This resulted in spiritual death and the emergence of a selfish new character.
God is fair and follows His own rules. Justice demands retribution for disobedience.
God Himself came to earth as the man Jesus Christ in order to uphold justice while still allowing people to reestablish their relationship with Him. He underwent a torturous end in our place, receiving the penalty for our sins.
The only route to God is through Jesus Christ. We can only benefit from Jesus' sacrifice, which frees us from sin and its consequences, by accepting Him into our lives.
Jesus changes you on the inside once you turn to Him. As you keep following Jesus and obey His Word, your internal transformation will continue to show up externally, affecting the people and situations in your immediate surroundings. God will keep working in and through you till your ideas, behaviors, and character resemble those of Jesus Christ.
