JOHN 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
This piece is written specifically for followers of Jesus Christ to tell you that numerous scriptures show that God IS directing you.
Too frequently, we feel as if we're wandering blindly by ourselves, without any assistance or direction from God. God may or may not be directing you, depending on how conscious you are of it. God's ability to perform acts covertly is one aspect of his brilliance.
Before making any choice, it is always a good idea to consult with God. But that does not imply that He is not guiding you even if you cannot hear God's distinct word responding you. His recorded Word and the testimony of the spirit within you are the main tools He uses to lead you.
You can adapt each of the following verses to yourself. (Personalizing them only by changing the names.) You'll gain more confidence if you recite these.
Since the Lord is my guide, I won't be lacked. He takes me close to the quiet seas. For the glory of His honor, He guides me along the paths of righteousness. (Psalm 23:1-3)
God will guide and educate me on the proper course of action. He'll use His sight to lead me. (Psalm 32:8)
The Lord will continue to direct me. (Isaiah 58:11)
Since I am a follower of Jesus, I will not walk in the shadows because I have the life-giving light of Christ. (John 8:12)
Since the arrival of the Spirit of Truth, I am being led into all truth. He will inform me of future events. (John 16:13)
I am a child of God, and I am guided by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 8:14)
Now, thanks to God, who always guides me in victory in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14)
The Lord has promised that He will never abandon His people. Therefore, I can confidently declare: "The Lord is my helper; I will not fear." (Hebrews 13:5โ6)
SAY THIS: I give thanks to the Almighty for leading me.
