Sin Does Harm

Published: July 21, 2024 Β· Reviewed: July 28, 2024

ROMANS 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sin is a tutor who gives difficult and unpleasant lessons.

Hold your palm near a flame without getting burned. And you cannot err without doing harm to others.

Evil hurts people. God categorizes it as evil for this reason.

Sin does harm to somebody. God is resistant to sin since He cares about humans.

If you live long enough, sin will ultimately persuade you that it is wrong to sin because it has negative effects. But why waste your time if you can understand it now by simply learning from the Bible?

God wrote everything in the Bible for our good. God already has all knowledge. In order for us to know the truth, he offered us the Scriptures.

Sin is terrible, that much is true. Sin does harm.

SAY THIS: I don't want to do anything with sin as it is harmful.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that the wages of sin is death, as stated in Romans 6:23. We understand that sin harms not only us but those around us. We pray for strength to resist sin, knowing it brings pain and suffering. We are grateful for Your Word, the Bible, which guides us towards righteousness. Help us to turn away from sin, recognizing its destructive nature. We declare, Lord, that we want nothing to do with sin, for we know it is harmful. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
