JOHN 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
Never lose sight of the fact that the Holy Spirit wants to assist you, not block you.
Also keep in mind that the Holy Spirit is an individual who requires the highest regard.
Here are some methods the Holy Spirit can assist you if He is allowed.
Tells Us Everything.
JOHN 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Tells us the coming future.
JOHN 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Stays With Us
We do not have to face life on our own, as a child would.
The Holy Spirit is always with us and resides within us.
He doesn't ever get far away when we need assistance, rather, He is always close by, ready for us to ask for His assistance.
Enables us to serve as witnesses.
ACTS 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Brings Life And Curing To Us
ROMANS 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Inspires Us.
ROMANS 8:16 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
2 CORINTHIANS 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
