God Gives Us By Faith

Published: July 24, 2024 · Reviewed: August 6, 2024

MATTHEW 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

Have you ever questioned why God chose to reward somebody when it seemed clear they deserved nothing?

Do you ever question why, despite your best efforts to live a godly Christian life, you are not better blessed?

The key is beliefs.

God gives to us according to what we have faith in, not on what is deserved.

GALATIANS 3:9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

It is God's mercy, not our behavior, that determines what we receive from Him.

ROMANS 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

When God already provided us everything through Christ, a lot of individuals attempt to obtain something from Him.

We must now accept what God has given by faith.

ROMANS 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Your confidence will become stronger if you nurture it with the Scriptures.

Reading, listening, speaking, and reflecting on it are all ways to take it in.

SAY THIS:

God's Word will feed me and grow my faith.

Then I will receive everything God gives me.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mercy and grace. We acknowledge that our blessings are not based on our deeds, but on our faith in You. Help us to strengthen our faith through Your Word, to accept the gifts You have already provided through Christ. May we stand firm in Your grace, rejoicing in the hope of Your glory. Feed us with Your Word, grow our faith, and help us to receive all that You have for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
