ROMANS 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
It appears that many Christians believe their role is to judge others, pointing out their flaws and mistakes. But it's not our duty to criticize other Believers!
ROMANS 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
With a spirit of respect, modesty, and care for other people's well-being, we can share the truth while noting out aspects where we believe they might not yet get a fully accurate knowledge of the Bible. However, Christians should never engage in violence, name-calling, or public humiliation!
Humbly correcting someone in private is very different from openly judging another brother or sister with arrogance.
The goal of everything we do should be to assist people, not to judge them, in the spirit of Christ.
JOHN 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
All of us belong to the same household. Love should safeguard and protect our brothers and sisters instead of offending them.
ROMANS 14:1-3,13 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
Christians vary greatly in many ways. Each of us is developing and learning. None of us are experts in everything. Even Paul, who recorded a large portion of the New Bible, claimed to only be partially aware (1 Corinthians 13:9).
All of us have a lot to learn. Therefore, we ought to wait before pointing out other people's errors. They may have learned something from the Lord that He has not yet shared with us.
Generally, people who regularly disparage others do so in order to boost their own status. We don't have to slip into this trap, though, because God has already exalted us through Christ.
ROMANS 14:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
SAY THIS: My task is to bless, assist, and pray for people, not to blame and degrade them.
