Jesus Never Loses

Published: July 29, 2024 · Reviewed: August 21, 2024

1 CORINTHIANS 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

There have been moments in my life when it appeared like Jesus had let me down, and I can say that I felt that He had.

But I was mistaken!

Never has Jesus let me down.

I frequently let Him down. I'm very sorry about it.

Additionally, I regret the times I questioned the Lord and believed He was failing me. That is not how Jesus should be treated.

A large portion of it occurred when I was spiritually quite young. I guess I thought the Lord would make everything in my life a bed of flowers with no obstacles or hurdles. I believed that anything I did would always be blessed by God.

I had to mature and learn that doing things my way and on my own didn't work out all that well.

However, Jesus always looked out for me despite all of my immaturity, mistakes, and stupidity. My wants were always addressed. He always supported me and found a solution for me.

Simply said, it didn't always happen when I expected it to or in the way I had anticipated.

I've come to realize that I don't know a lot.

However, Jesus does! He is all-knowing.

He knows what will happen, and I can put my faith in Him because He loves me.

And He loves you in the same way that He loves me.

1 CORINTHIANS 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

SAY THIS: I shall never be let down by Jesus Christ

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for your faithfulness and unfailing love. Forgive me for the times I doubted your presence and questioned your plans. Help me to trust in your wisdom, knowing that you will never let me down. Strengthen me to resist temptation and guide me to the path of righteousness. Teach me to rely on you, not on my own understanding. I am grateful for your patience and your constant support. I declare my faith in you, Lord Jesus, knowing that you will never fail me. In your holy name, I pray. Amen.
