2 CORINTHIANS 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
It is part of God's plan for us to live by faith as His children while we are on this planet.
Faith is concerned with entities that cannot be seen or felt by our physical senses.
HEBREWS 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
The basis for our religion is the written Word of God.
God, as we understand, is honest.
If it is not yet proved to our physical senses, whatever God speaks will ultimately come to pass.
The things that God states come to pass. The Bible states that all God had to do to create the world was to speak.
If you don't learn to prioritize what God says in His Word over what your situations and senses advise you, you'll never develop a solid spiritual foundation.
The Bible advises us that Abraham was an outstanding role model of faith in this aspect.
ROMANS 4:19-21 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Abraham was advised by God that he would father many nations, but he was childless, and his wife was past the age of pregnancy.
Abraham kept his faith in God's Word, and it was fulfilled.
For us today, faith is the same.
When we accept what God told, the seemingly impossible becomes true. God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible.
Like Abraham, we can be completely convinced that God has the ability to do everything He told as long as we preserve our focus on Him and His Word.
COLOSSIANS 2:6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
We accept Jesus Christ by faith, and we must uphold this faith throughout our entire Christian life in the world.
SAY THIS: I will follow God here on earth by faith.
