There are those who believe that this "predestination" means that only some have been called or justified, but, in reality, all of us have been predestined from our birth to be called, justified and glorified.
We are all created in the image and likeness of God. No one is created in another image. As images, children, of the one God, Jesus came to redeem us all.
No one can justify him or herself, we are all justified by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, the Christ, the Messiah, the Son of God.
However, we must answer the call; we must accept the gift of salvation, or justification, by the quality of our lives.
Once we accept Jesus as our Savior, our lives change. Others may not see much difference, but we are different. We are happier; we are more able to take life in stride.
Our attitude is different and so that we are more able to handle the bumps that life throws at us. We believe that some good can come out of whatever happens. We often become stronger because we know we are never alone.
If we like the person we are today, then we are the result of all that we have encountered in our past and all the choices we have made β even the ones we may regret!
We have been called and justified and we trust in the promise that we will be glorified. God will take care of us and we know that he will continue to bring good out of bad situations.
