Don't you just love Paul's prayer for us! We have been strengthened by the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.
I would ask how it feels to be loved so deeply and completely, but I wouldn't presume that you are aware of it and have thought about it as I know that I have problems at times believing this and I figure that others do to.
Unconditional love is always hard to accept because we can find ourselves unlovable at times and we might think that even God does too.
But we are wrong in that. God knows us through and through and loves us above all measure.
This love of God strengthens us when we feel weak or in trouble, or when facing the unknown.
We often forget to call upon the Spirit within us to help.
If you have ever found yourself saying something to a friend or relative who has come to you for advice, and you can't remember what you said, or you don't know where the words came from, then you can thank the Holy Spirit.
When you find yourself facing a challenge and you're not sure where the courage comes from, you can thank the Holy Spirit.
When Paul says that we are filled with all the fullness of God, he doesn't mean that we have become divine, but that God is there all the time to give us everything we need at any given time.
It might be knowledge or wisdom, it might mean the ability to make the right decision, or have the courage to stand up for what is right, God is there.
Our biggest problem is asking for help, or maybe realizing that we need help!
Tonight, when you go to bed, picture yourself wrapped in the arms of the Father who loves you and feel the warmth of that love.
