This Bible verse is so assuring because of the way it is so certain. It isn't asking us to consider understanding God. It is instructing us to understand who God is in our lives.
God is not a faraway God who is unaware of the challenges we face on a regular basis. On the contrary.
When I look at this verse I am reminded of a faithful God who has gone to the ends of the earth, and beyond, to keep to the promises that He made to us.
Imagine that. The Almighty God who reigns over all is always concerned about ensuring that we know of His faithfulness – no matter what may come or happen.
God has been in the business of keeping His promises long before we existed. From the beginning of Scriptures we are provided with countless examples of God's willingness to be steadfast and faithful.
His love is boundless and spreads across many, many generations. God does not tease us with His love.
He pours it all on us, immersing us in it until we are so overwhelmed.
God's love comes without conditions – which is a phenomenal thing to take note of in a world that is so full of conditions and debilitating requirements.
As Christians, we classify as those who love Him and keep His commandments. How great the assurance we have in God, knowing that His love for us is certain and we are exposed to it every second of our lives.
