A College Student's Challenge in a Secular Environment
As a college student, I find myself surrounded by peers who often ridicule faith and view it as outdated. I used to be strong in my beliefs, but now I feel pressured to conform to the secular mindset. I want to share the hope of Christ with my friends, but I fear their judgment. Please pray that I have the boldness to express my faith and that God helps me find supportive friendships that encourage my relationship with Him. I desperately need strength and discernment in this season of my life.

Dear Kevin, thank you for sharing your struggles as a college student navigating a secular environment. Your feelings of pressure are completely understandable, but I want to remind you that your faith is a treasure and should be shared boldly. In Romans 1:16, Paul declares, 'For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.' Let this be your anthem! You are called to be a light in the darkness (Matthew 5:14), and your courage can inspire others. Seek out campus ministries or groups that align with your values; they can offer the support you need. In John 14:27, Jesus promises us peace, not as the world gives, but His own peace. Lean into that promise during challenging conversations. I will be lifting you up in prayer for both strength and opportunities to demonstrate your faith. Remember, God is with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Amen.
