A College Student's Search for Meaning
Hello, my name is Eric, and I’m a 21-year-old college student. As I approach graduation, I can’t shake the feeling that I have no real purpose in life. I chose my major without much thought, and now I am terrified of facing a future that feels meaningless. I see friends excited about their career paths, but I feel like I'm just going through the motions. I'm praying for God to reveal His plan for my life and to show me how I can make a difference in the world. Please pray that I may find clarity and a sense of purpose that comes from Him.

Dear Eric, thank you for your honest and heartfelt prayer request. It’s not uncommon for young adults to feel this way, especially during major transitions like graduation. In Romans 10:17, we are reminded that 'faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.' Trust that God is speaking to you even in your uncertainty. He created you with a purpose and is excited to reveal it to you. Remember Psalm 46:10, 'Be still, and know that I am God.' Take time to seek Him, and be open to unexpected opportunities where you can serve others and live out your faith. As you explore your interests, God may lead you to a calling that resonates with your heart. I will be praying for you to find that clarity and the courage to follow it. Lord, guide Eric in his search for purpose and grant him the peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen.
