A Couple's Journey Through Parenting Challenges
We are a couple in our late 30s struggling to raise our son with ADHD. The constant battles over homework and daily routines leave us feeling depleted. There are times when we argue about how to handle his behavior, which creates tension in our marriage. We want to be united in parenting but often find ourselves on different pages. Please pray for patience, understanding, and to strengthen our bond as we navigate this journey together.

Dear David and Lisa, thank you for sharing your struggles as a couple. The challenges of parenting can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially with a child who has special needs. It's important to remember that you are on this journey together, and unity in your approach is vital. Ecclesiastes 4:9 states, 'Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.' Lean on each other in this time, sharing your concerns and strategies openly. Communication is key; talk about what works and what doesn’t, and express your thoughts with love and understanding. Ephesians 4:2 reminds us to 'walk in love, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.' I pray that God grants you both patience and wisdom in raising your son and helps strengthen your bond as partners in this journey. Let’s pray: Lord, strengthen David and Lisa’s marriage and guide them to understand and support each other as they parent together. Amen.
