A Cry for Help as Our Funding Depletes
I’m Linda, and I oversee a nonprofit that helps the elderly with daily living and companionship. Unfortunately, we've seen our funding cut in half due to changes in government support, and I'm terrified of what this means for our ability to help these vulnerable individuals. The thought of having to close our doors or limit our services feels like a personal failure to me. I need prayer for wisdom and divine intervention as we seek new funding sources. I’m holding onto my faith, but I am scared about the future.

Dear Linda, thank you for sharing your heart and the important work you do for the elderly. It is a noble calling that often goes unrecognized. I want to encourage you that God sees your dedication and cares deeply for those you serve. It’s understandable to feel scared when facing financial challenges, but remember that God is our ultimate provider. Philippians 4:19 reminds us that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Continue to trust in His faithfulness. Ecclesiastes 9:11 teaches us that the outcomes are not always in our control, but God works through our efforts. Let this be a reminder to seek out creative solutions and never hesitate to reach out for community support. I urge you to gather your team and seek God’s wisdom together, for James 1:5 encourages us that if we lack wisdom, we should ask God. I will be praying for you and your organization, believing that God will open doors you haven’t yet imagined.
