A Daughter's Prayer for Family Acceptance
I'm Maria, and I recently accepted Jesus as my Savior while serving time. My heart is filled with joy, but I feel so lonely here. I’m anxious about how to reach out to my family, who have always been skeptical of faith. My dad especially believes this is just a phase, and it breaks my heart. I want to share my faith with them, to show them how Jesus has changed my life, but I fear their rejection. Please pray that God opens their hearts and minds to understand my journey, and that I can be a beacon of His light, even in this dark place. I long for the day when I can share this hope with them and have their support on my walk with Christ.

Dear Maria, thank you for your heartfelt request. How beautiful it is to see God working in your life, even in such challenging circumstances! Trust that your transformation is a testament to His love and power. In John 14:6, Jesus tells us that He is the way, the truth, and the life. As you seek to share your journey with your family, remember that the truth of your experience is powerful. Often, skepticism stems from fear and misunderstanding, but you can be the living example of Christ's love to them. Pray for a spirit of compassion and understanding to fill their hearts, for God desires everyone to know Him (1 Timothy 2:4). Continue to pray, live out your faith authentically, and trust that God will guide your words. I am praying for your family's hearts to be softened and opened to the truth of Jesus.
