A Divorced Father Wrestling with Faith and Loneliness
Since my divorce, I have been struggling to find my place in this world and feel incredibly isolated. I’ve prayed for companionship and healing, but it seems like the more I pray, the more lonely I feel. My faith has taken a hit, and I’m now questioning whether God hears me at all. I miss the community I once had, and I feel disconnected from God and others. I long for encouragement and strength to rebuild my faith and find hope again. Please pray for me as I seek to reconnect with God and find peace in my heart amidst this turmoil.

Dear Daniel, I appreciate your openness in sharing your struggles with faith and loneliness. Divorce can create feelings of isolation that are tough to navigate. In times like these, it’s important to lean into your faith rather than away from it. Remember the promise in Jeremiah 29:11 about God’s plans for your future, which are filled with hope. It’s okay to feel lost; bring those feelings to God and allow Him to comfort you. Hebrews 11:1 teaches us that faith is about trusting in what we cannot see. Hold on to hope! As you seek community, remember that God desires connection with you, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Let’s pray: Lord, I lift Daniel up to You and ask that he may feel Your comforting presence during this difficult time. Help him to find community and restore his faith. Amen.
